ID Features: seed cases resembling a purse, white flowers. Natural History: Shepherd's purse has small lance-shaped leaves (bottom leaves similar to dandelion) with stems that are topped with small white flowers. The fruit is the shape of a "shepherd's purse". It is a common weed of any untended area.
