Missouri Plants Hedge bindweed   (Calystegia sepium) Tracheophyte: Angiosperm: Dicot: Morning Glory (Convolvulaceae) Non-native from Eurasia Habitat: any full sun area. ID Features: elongated heart-shaped leaves, white trumpet-shaped flowers. Natural History: Hedge bindweed grows as a vine with long heart-shaped leaves and white trumpet-shaped flowers. It grows in almost any abandoned environment and is a pernicious weed. If unchecked, it will cover other plants completely and completely "bind" them up.
