Missouri Plants Filaree   (Erodium sp.) Tracheophyte: Angiosperm: Dicot: Geranium (Geraniaceae) Native North American Plant Habitat: any full sun area. ID Features: tiny toothed leaves, 5-petaled violet flowers. Natural History: Filarees produce tiny pink blossoms and are commonly found in fields that are only occasionally mowed. Their foliage has livestock and wildlife value.
