ID Features: yellow butterfly commonly seen on a variety of flowers
Natural History: Sulfur butterflies are migratory because it cannot survive the winters of the midwest. It produces two or more generations of butterflies in a single summer. The adults visit a variety of flower types and are often seen in wetland areas. It often visits tubular flowers such as four-o'clocks and trumpet vine.
